This Cased Colt World War II Pacific Theater Commemorative Model 1911A1 Semi-Automatic Pistol was manufactured in 1970. It featured a bright nickel finish, dark smooth walnut grips with an oiled finish, a standard 5" barrel, and a safety grip. Along with feather motifs, this gun is engraved ”Pearl Harbor Coral Sea Corregidor / Guadalcanal Tarawa Saipan Leyte Iwo Jima Okinawa Tokyo” & “World War II Commemorative / Pacific Theater Of Operations” on the slide. This estate-owned gun appears unfired and comes in an original wooden glass top presentation case with a green felt lining and front drawer.
